The Great Big Auction will take place Thursday, March 20th from 6-9 pm, and it promises to be a night of fun and philanthropy in the heart of Detroit at the iconic Cambria Hotel. You can expect great food and cocktails, live music from Urban Art Orchestra, local influencers, celebrity guest appearances (including local sports icons), networking opportunities, an online silent auction (need not buy a ticket to participate), a thrilling live auction that includes travel, one-of-a-kind experiences and more - all to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters and their mission to create and support mentoring relationships that ignite potential in our youth. There's also the Golden Draft Raffle - $100 enters you into the draft to be the #1 pick and win a signed football from former Detroit Lion and pro-Football Hall of Famer, Barry Sanders (need not be present to win)!

Every year my NAPO Michigan Chapter picks a charity and Volunteers to organize areas they are struggling with. This year we chose Gifts For All God's Children . Patti Jacques is the Founder and has an arsenal of dedicated Staff and Volunteers. It has grown from the first year helping 187 children to helping over 80,000 to date. Christmas, Easter, Back to school etc. All clothing and toys are brand new. Thank you to my fellow Organizers,  Betty Francelj Huotari , Kari Grady , Jane Hale, Ann Marie Thoma Demeniuk , Renee Stewart and myself for a successful and rewarding day volunteering.
