M1 Concourse announced today its highly anticipated 2025 calendar of events, bringing a new year of exhilarating automotive and racing celebrations, track experiences, and family-friendly festivals to the iconic Woodward Avenue venue. M1 celebrates all things automotive – past, present, and future – in the Motor City area where a passion for cars is on overdrive. M1 Concourse is the premier destination for car enthusiasts and families alike.
“This year’s lineup is unmatched,” said Tim McGrane, CEO of M1 Concourse. “We anticipate rare collections and legendary drivers to be on-site. M1 Concourse can’t wait to welcome guests from Metro Detroit and from around the world to immerse themselves in our campus.”
Signature M1 Concourse events are once again the primary focus of the annual event calendar, which features more than a dozen engaging events intended to welcome the community and thrill crowds.
The fifth annual Woodward Dream Festival, presented by Comerica, is set with activities taking place August 13-17. The celebration of Metro Detroit’s automotive roots has now been expanded to open with the highly popular Corvettes on Woodward mid-week event, and will feature the legendary Dodge Viper Thursday and Friday in addition to the newly added Woodward Drift presented by Drift Indy during the weekend.
M1 Concourse’s flagship event, American Speed Festival, is scheduled for October 3-5 and will feature Vintage Indy cars along with supercars, endurance cars and other race groups. The event’s 2025 Master of Motorsports honoree will be announced in the coming weeks.
The award-winning Cars & Coffee, presented by Golling Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, returns with seven unique shows from April through October from 8 to 11 a.m., typically the first Saturday of the month, which often features rarely seen vehicles and collections. Expect to see a flurry of vehicles from classic to luxury, look under the hood and chat with car owners and fellow car enthusiasts at the monthly tradition with a massive following. Open to all, Cars & Coffee meetups celebrate automotive culture in the Motor City drawing in people from across the Midwest.
New in 2025 is the addition of the Pontiac Hot Air Balloon Glow & Laser Show on July 11-12, where attendees will see the skies over M1 light up with inflated hot air balloons and accompanied by kites and a laser light show at night. Cars Under the Stars Fireworks Spectacular will also light up the skies above the track on June 29 in advance of the Fourth of July holiday and offers a rare spot for families to watch fireworks drive-in style from the back of their vehicles.
Automotive history will be on display on July 19 when M1 Concourse hosts the Classic Car Club of America 'Grand Classic' event, showcasing majestic classic era automobiles from the 1920s through 1940s.
Advanced tickets are encouraged. Memberships are also available for the Motorsports Club and M1 Concourse Car Club (M1CCC), offering exclusive track access, discounted tickets, preferred parking, and additional special invites and benefits.
