Coming Soon to the Troy Historic Village: Fairy Tales, Folklore, Fun, and TREATS

Grab your red riding hood, jump into your pumpkin carriage, and head on over to the Troy Historic Village for our annual trick-or-treating event! This year’s theme is Fairy Tales and Folklore, and Village trick-or-treating is always friendly and never scary. Families will enjoy a magical time with enchanting decorations, run a fairy tale themed obstacle course, help mix a bewitching potion, attempt to blow down little pigs’ houses, and so much more!

Kids will collect candy and other prizes as they move through the Village. We’ll also have some sweet treats courtesy of Tim Hortons! The Troy Garden Club and many of the Scarecrow Row sponsors will also be onsite passing out goodies as well.

Join us for this mystical event sure to create wonderful family memories! Fairy Tales and Folklore Trick-or-Treat takes place at the Troy Historic Village, 60 W Wattles Rd. on October 20th from 4:00- 8:00PM and October 21st from 12:00-3:00PM. Discounts given for advance registration on our website www.troyhistoricvillage.org. Don’t wait – preregistration closes on October 18th. You can also purchase tickets at the door the day of the event.

 About Troy Historic Village 

Troy Historic Village is located at 60 West Wattles Rd., Troy MI. The Village is open year-round and showcases eleven historic structures in a charming five-acre complex. Visitors of all ages can explore Michigan history by witnessing and sharing the lifestyles of the pioneers who established homes and farms in rural Troy Township during the 1800s. Troy Historic Village serves the counties of Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb, providing a memorable and interactive experience for all visitors. Offering a wide variety of activities for children and a diverse range of lectures and events for adults, the Village aims to enrich lives as they connect visitors’ experiences to the past and to each other. They use the buildings and artifacts as tools to preserve the stories of our past and create meaningful experiences through educational and community programs.
