TROY, Mich., June 16, 2022 — Innovative Learning
Group, Inc. (ILG) announced today that Carly Patterson has joined the company
as a project manager and instructional designer.
“Carly brings a great deal of expertise in developing and
managing large corporate training initiatives from the vendor side,” says CEO
Lisa Toenniges. “Additionally, her ability to play a dual role of a project
manager and instructional designer makes her a terrific addition to our
team.”
Patterson made the switch from a career in journalism to
one in learning and performance support more than 10 years ago. She has
developed and managed a wide range of learning interventions, including
e-learning and blended learning, for a multitude of industries, such as
aerospace, automotive, financial services, food service, healthcare, and
manufacturing.
Previously, she worked at GP Strategies, based in
Maryland, as a senior instructional designer. From 2015-2018, Patterson was a
learning designer at U.K.-based LEO Learning.
Patterson has a master’s degree in instructional systems
technology from Indiana University Bloomington and a bachelor’s degree in
journalism from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Patterson lives in Bloomington, Indiana, and will work
remotely.
