Eight Michigan-based startups—selected by Dell Technologies and StartupNation—will be selected to take part in the pitch competition, with two winners eligible to advance to the next round of Dell’s national competition. All participants must be available to pitch in person on Sept. 28, 2022, in Birmingham.
The free pitch competition consists of a 3-minute pitch presentation with slides and Q&A. The
first-place winner receives $15,000 in Dell products through Dell Advantage
Rewards. The second-place winner (crowd favorite) receives $10,000 in Dell
products through Dell Advantage Rewards. Both advance to the next round of
pitching for a chance to win another $40K in prizes.

The
competition is part of a day of networking and learning, the Dell Technologies rally truck, and more.
All registered attendees will be entered to win a Dell product.
Tentative schedule:
- 10 a.m. Meet and greet. Vendors, including Dell Financial Services and
Targus, open.
- 11 a.m. Introductions. The Dell rally truck, which gives entrepreneurs the
chance to interact with the latest technology, opens.
- 11:15 a.m. Panel presentation on small business funding with Q&A.
- 12:30 p.m. Break.
- 1-3 p.m. Pitch event. The first- and second-place winners will be announced.
- 3:30-5 p.m. Networking.
