With over 10 years of experience in education, special education, and edtech, I have a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of this underserved and growing population.

I am also the co-founder and executive director of Born and Raised Detroit Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports Detroit-based charities that improve children's lives in my hometown. Since 2011, we have organized events across the country and raised over $1 million in grants for various causes and initiatives. I am honored to be recognized as one of the 2020-2021 Global Education and Learning Forum Top 100 Leaders in Education, and to serve as a NYU Steinhardt Dean's Alumni Board Member.
