Constitution Cafes

Utilizing the Socratic Method of inquiry, engage in civil discourse to explore different aspects of the Constitution each month. Sponsored by the Oakland County Bar Foundation. Please scroll down to register.

Upcoming Constitution Café topics:

  • December 1: The 20th Amendment! Should we eliminate lame ducks? How long should Congressional terms last? *Note that this program takes place the first Sunday of the month.
  • January 12: The 21st Amendment: The Repeal of Prohibition. What did we learn from the experiment of Prohibition?
  • February 9: The 22nd Amendment. The Office of the President is the only office with term limits. Is this an anti-democratic Amendment? Or should we expand term limits?
