Leadership Enrichment: Pledge to Lead with Conviction

 

April Leadership Enrichment Meeting:  Join us for an engaging event where we will dive into key leadership topics, including common leadership styles, the challenges leaders face, and the essential qualities of effective leadership. We'll explore how to leverage your strengths to maximize your impact and discuss strategies for focusing on optimization while leaving pessimism behind. Whether you're a seasoned leader or aspiring to grow, this session will provide valuable insights to enhance your leadership journey.   

 

 

In her presentation, Stephanie will discuss:

  • What are some of the challenges leaders face?
  • What are the qualities you believe makes someone an effective leader?
  • How to take advantage of your strengths to maximize your effectiveness?
  • Focus on Optimization and leaving Pessimism behind

 

 

About the Presenter: Stephanie J. Lee, Administrative Associate and Executive VP for Academic Affairs and Provost, Oakland University

     Stephanie J. Lee career at Oakland University over thirty years ago. She joined the Academic Affairs office in September 2002 as the Administrative Associate to the Provost. Previously working at Oakland University in the Registrar’s office and previously working in the School of Business Administration as the MBA Site Administrator and Assessment Assistant.    

      In her role as Administrative Associate, Dr. Lee provides counsel and management support to the Provost and is responsible for leading or coordinating a variety of matters within the office of the Provost, with other campus units, with the Office of the President, and the Board of Trustees. Stephanie facilitates resolution of matters requiring the Provost’s attention; arranges for presentation and talking points for the Provost on a variety of topics; ensures information flow to and from the Provost office as the Office Operations Manager. She helps implement strategic initiatives to advance the Provost’s vision and monitors progress in achieving Provost-inspired initiatives.    

      Dr. Lee received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Oakland, a Masters of Arts degree in Education from Central Michigan University, a Post-Master Certificate in Higher Education and her Doctor of Education from Oakland.
