Established in 1948, the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan is a community of dedicated staff members and volunteers working to improve the lives of people with epilepsy and those who care for them. Our programs and services empower people with epilepsy to live meaningful and productive lives by providing information and guidance on how to best care for epilepsy and by promoting awareness of the condition among professionals and the public.

Insuring Change is a nonprofit dedicated to improving systemic trauma impacting impoverished communities. We do this by focusing on leadership development, enhancing their real world problem solving skills and providing examples of good and bad leadership moments in society. This is done by partnering with other nonprofits and schools to implement a customized curriculum designed to meet the students where they are. We work with the youth to help them understand the influences behind their behaviors, the ultimate goal is to stop the automatic perpetuation of these unhealthy mindsets.
