Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan (BBBSSEM), in partnership with Be a Part of Me Consulting, invites the community to attend its premier fundraising event, The Great Big Auction, from 6 to 9 pm on Thursday, March 20 at the Cambria Hotel, 600 W. Lafayette in Detroit.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan is a one-to-one mentorship program helping hundreds of kids in the region. BBBSSEM helps youth achieve their full potential through mentoring and support programs that create lasting, positive change in their lives.

VIP doors open at 5:30 p.m. and general admission is at 6 p.m.; the auction commences at 7:20 p.m. There will also be an exciting live performance by the Urban Art Orchestra.

Attendees will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, raffles, a live and online silent auction, and networking opportunities—all supporting the Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission to empower local youth through mentorship.

This unforgettable evening offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by bidding on exclusive experiential auction packages, attending a VIP celebrity reception at Cambria’s Five Iron Golf, and enjoying a vibrant atmosphere while connecting with influential supporters of BBBSSEM. Proceeds will directly support programs that pair local youth with caring adult mentors.

BBBSSEM encourages event sponsorship, individual ticket sales and Golden Ticket sales (need not be present to win). For $100 each, Golden Ticket holders will be entered for the chance to win an incredible prize.  Attendees can see if they’re the overall #1 draft pick at The Great Big Auction!

Whether sponsoring or attending the event, contributing an auction item, entering the Golden Ticket Draft or simply spreading the word, your involvement will make a lasting difference for the youth BBBSSEM serves. BBBSSEM Development Director Anne Marie Veneroni agreed: “The Great Big Auction is a win/win for the community and the kids we serve. Join us for a great night and support our mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.?”
