Biggby Coffee Troy teams up with Sparkle Network to make Halloween “A Little Extra Special” for Children’s Hospital MI
It’s been a tradition since October 2014 for Sparkle Network to bring the “Princess Pumpkin Patch” to life for patients at Children’s Hospital of Michigan-Detroit campus. There has been a yearly visit every year minus October of 2020. Last year Sparkle Network was only able to drop off the makings for their Pumpkin Patch. For 2023 the organization will be back with a more normal visit and coming back with a little more sparkle.
This is where Liz Karg and Biggby of Troy come into the story. After a meeting between Sparkle Network’s founder, Moe Lietz, and Liz, they knew they were a great match to make the return to CHM this October a bigger bang. Liz’s location at 1057 E. Long Lake will be collecting items for Sparkle Network to take for their trip in late October. Liz is a big proponent of giving back and helping community partners.
Item’s which can be donated (think merry not scary):
small pumpkins which can be decorated (available at Michael’s & Joann’s),
pumpkin decorating kits w/stickers,
Crayola or rose art (non-toxic) markers/crayons, and stickers
Biggy Coffee of Troy is collecting items until Saturday, October 21, 2023.
