INIX Consulting & Brokerage is proud to announce that our founder, Tanya Popov, has been elected to the Board of Governors of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the largest professional association for business brokers worldwide.

With nearly 3,000 members, the IBBA provides business brokers, transaction advisors, and intermediaries with education, resources, and support to elevate their professional standards and better serve their clients. Tanya’s election to the Board of Governors is a testament to her 15 years of dedication, leadership, and outstanding contributions to the business brokerage industry.

“I am truly honored to be elected to the IBBA Board of Governors. This organization has been an essential part of my professional growth, and I am excited to give back to the community that has given me so much,” said Tanya. “I look forward to working with my fellow board members, contributors, and volunteers to continue driving the success of the IBBA and helping our industry thrive.”

In her new role, Tanya will help guide the strategic direction of the IBBA and continue to promote education and professionalism within the business brokerage industry.

Additionally, congratulations go out to Jim Parker on being elected as the 2026 Chair of the Board, Joe Shemansky as a newly elected fellow Board member, and Peter Goodman on his reelection to a second term. Together, they will lead the IBBA toward continued success and growth.

Tanya Popov is the founder of INIX Consulting & Brokerage, a boutique firm specializing in the valuation and sale of privately held companies. She has personally closed well over 100 transactions and is passionate about elevating the standards of the industry. Beyond her work with the IBBA, Tanya also serves as President of the Clarkston Chamber of Commerce and has been leading the Michigan Business Brokers Association (MBBA) for over a decade.
