to 12:30pm. Troy Historical Society Members are invited to gather for an informal conversation about the Niles-Barnard House’s historic past and vibrant future. Hosted by our Troy Historical Society Board of Trustees, this conversation is free to all members and includes a hot drink and a light snack. Memberships start at just $35 a year, but people can include their whole household for $55 a year! At the Village, members get to define who is in their "household” and can list partners, children, parents, or roomates on the membership form.
We welcome new members all year round! When someone joins the Troy Historical Society, they become a Villager. Memberships help us to preserve local history and supports hands-on learning for all ages at the Troy Historic Village. Members also join an enthusiastic group of folks who appreciate history, preservation, learning, and community. “We think these Member-Only meet ups will be a great way for people with the same interestes to get to know each other,” said Jen Peters, Executive Director.

About Troy
Historic Village:
The Troy Historic Village is a collection of 11
buildings surrounding a gazebo and green in the heart of Troy, Michigan.
Filled with the collections and stories of the 1800s settlement and 1900s
growth in the Troy area, staff and volunteers use these buildings to bring
history to life for visitors of all ages. The Troy Historical Society,
established as a 501.c.3 nonprofit, operates the Troy Historic Village for the
City of Troy through a renewable management agreement. The Troy Historical Society’s mission is to engage the community and enable life-long exploration of history by sharing and preserving our stories, artifacts, and buildings through creative, meaningful experiences.
