May 31, 2024 – Troy, MI -- ASE has partnered with Talent Matters LLC to bring its high impact Talent Solutions to ASE member employers.  Talent Matters assists organizations to leverage Harrison Assessment talent analytics to select the right candidate for the right role and to foster mutually beneficial employment relationships.

According to Gallup, the number of associates that are fully engaged remains dangerously low.  In a recent study, HR thinktank Gartner concluded that at any moment nearly 36% of the workforce are actively seeking other employment opportunities.  When a skilled associate leaves, it is especially challenging in today’s labor market to replace that person.

The partnership was announced by ASE President and CEO, Mary E. Corrado, “ASE is pleased to bring Talent Matters to our members as we support them in the increasingly difficult challenge of filling important roles within their organization. The Harrison Assessment will assist them with succession planning and retention of their younger, blooming talent by finding the right roles for them within the organization,” said Corrado.

Harrison Assessment analytics, through other report tools, can provide uniquely useful insights to onboard, develop, and engage/retain top talent.

“Increasingly, employers are carefully reviewing job requirements and have begun to realize they can apprentice train associates who have the right attitude or mindset…culture fit perhaps,” said Talent Matters Partner, Reid Tolley.  The Harrison Assessment provided by Talent Matters provides the predictive and valid insights needed to discern whether a candidate would enjoy and learn rapidly in a specific role and enjoy the organization.”

“Moving the needle on both engagement and retention, requires understanding people uniquely, and forging a shared responsibility for one’s engagement.  The Harrison Assessment fulfillment survey process creates a different conversation around engagement and provides a practical tool for leaders to have that conversation” according to Collin George, Partner, Talent Matters.

If engagement is a function of the right associates in the right job and the working environment, it is the working environment that leaders have the most ability to influence.  Talent Matter’s Performance Advantage leadership development process develops adaptive leaders able to create the working environment that allow engagement (and retention) to flourish.

Talent Matters works with a variety of organizations across many industries including education, manufacturing, professional services, non-profits, and government agencies.
