Dickinson Wright is pleased
to announce that Benjamin Sobczak has joined the firm’s Troy office as a
Member.
Ben is an experienced
litigator with an emphasis on shareholder and close corporate disputes,
collection actions, private securities litigation, class action defense and
business torts. In that capacity he has received several accolades including
the 2018 Crain’s “Business Litigation of the Year” award, inclusion in the 2018
Benchmark Litigation “40 & Under Hot List,” and 2016-17 Rising Star

Ben also serves as outside
general counsel providing regulatory and transactional-based services to
cannabis companies in various jurisdictions throughout the U.S. and Canada. He
is a frequent speaker at professional seminars and conferences and is recognized
as a leading legal contributor to the Michigan cannabis industry. In light of those contributions, in 2022 he
was fortunate enough to be appointed to a council position with the State Bar

Prior to joining Dickinson

company with operations in Michigan and Massachusetts. In that role, Ben gained
invaluable experience as a business operator and entrepreneur. That expanded
perspective allows him to better understand client needs and deliver practical
and cost-effective legal solutions in furtherance of their success.
