The award-winning podcast “It Shouldn’t Hurt To Be A Child” takes listeners inside the mission of CARE House of Oakland County, the child advocacy center serving the suburban Detroit county of 1.2 million residents, like never before. Hosted by local media personality and singer Karen Newman, the podcast features the stories of survivors of abuse, parents of survivors and others whose first-person experience use the medium to convey emotion, impact and hope. “It Shouldn’t Hurt To Be A Child” is available on all popular podcast platforms and has attracted hundreds of listeners.
The Hermes Creative Awards honor communications work in more than two hundred categories across the globe, including Print Media, Public Relations/Communications and Electronic/ Social/Interactive Media. In addition to strategic tactics like advertising, publications, podcasts, websites and videos, categories also include strategic campaigns and media placements.
This year, only the top 17 percent of entries received Platinum Awards.
