About the presenter:
Matt Dery, Marketing & Business Development Director, Q5 Experience
Matt Dery is a longtime communications professional who recently left the sports media business full-time to run Marketing and Business Development for Financial Architects, Inc and the Q5 Experience, LLC. Matt oversees all communications for both companies and has been a Troy Chamber member since the start of 2023. Financial Architects is a macro financial planning firm that has been in existence for over 38 years, Matt and his wife Heather have been FAI clients for over 12 years. In addition, Q5 is a business succession planning company that guides business owners through a process to build enterprise value in their company before they sell it. Q5 is the "Fifth Quarter" of their business.
Matt has been a sports broadcaster on both radio and TV in Cleveland and Detroit dating back to 1995 following his graduation from Syracuse University. He has worked at WDFN, 97.1 FM "The Ticket", and Detroit Sports 105.1 FM and currently is a fill-in talk show host at 92.3 FM "The Fan" in Cleveland. Dery also hosts the very successful "Locked on Lions" daily Podcast. He has been married to his wife, Heather, for 12 years and they have three children, Jace (22), AJ (20), and Reese (18).
