Jennifer Llewellyn, Manager, Workforce Development, Director, Oakland County Michigan Works!
Jennifer Llewellyn serves as the Manager of Workforce Development at Oakland County and the Director of the Oakland County Michigan Works! Agency. With over 25 years of workforce development experience, Jennifer leads innovative, collaborative, effective workforce development programs to ensure residents and businesses thrive in Oakland County. She is responsible for the oversight of more than 40 federal, state, and local workforce development grants totaling $20 million annually. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Oakland University and is a Certified Career Development Facilitator and Certified Business Solutions Professional. She is past-chair of the Workforce Intelligence Network Board, Chair of the Michigan Works! Association Leadership Council, and serves as a member of the Pontiac Collective Impact Partnership and Automation Alley Fund Board. In 2014, Jennifer was named to Oakland County’s Elite 40 Under 40. She has received the Oakland County 2019 Excellence In Economic Development Award, the 2020 Martin Luther King Dreamer Award from the Greater Pontiac Community Coalition, and the 2020 Michigan Works! Association Doug Stites Above and Beyond Awards.
