March 10: Beaver Island Head Lighthouse & Eastern Michigan University Field School

Nancy Villa Bryk, Director of Eastern Michigan University's Preservation Studies Program, will share information on our program's beloved field school (once held here at THV). She will primarily focus on the extraordinary preservation work on Beaver Island's Beaver Head Lighthouse, accomplished during two field schools with students, preservation professionals, and faculty. We tackled everything from restoration masonry to carpentry way up in the light tower! Join us for this first public talk about our work on the Beaver Head Lighthouse.
